Thanks for applying to be a blogger
for 1 Mother of the Bride.com !
We've been inundated with applications for the position of
wedding blogger within this site and have had literally dozens
of people with extensive wedding experience.
Choosing a shortlist from all the applicants hasn't been
easy, but thankfully there's been two of us, sifting through
your applications to see who has the kind of writing style that
will fit in with our own and appeal to the right audience.
Due to the quality of the shortlisted applicants, we have
decided to have not one, but two bloggers, on the site, who
will hopefully be able to complement each other and add a
variety of flavours and ideas.
Shortlisted Applicants
Congratulations to Cherry, Deborah, Adrienne, Holly,
Annette, Andrea, Liberty, Maia, Emily, Holly, Felissa &
Toyi who have all been shortlisted.
We are hoping to recruit four bloggers, two for this site
and two for another wedding-related site.
You will be hearing shortly from me to ask you to write a
short piece on one of the following:-
Mother of the Bride - please
write 100-250 words on something relevant to the mothers of the
bride or groom, or possibly even the grandmother.
Wedding Inspiration & "How To" -
please write one piece, 150-250 words, related to giving
inspiration or a "how to" for either the bride or
bridesmaids
Further Information for Shortlisted
Applicants
Please write something in your normal style, on the subject
requested. I've deliberately left the subject very open, so you
can indulge in something that you enjoy and that inspires
you.
Please email me at:-

Include your sample writing and also please write about what
sort of payment you would expect for writing two blog posts
weekly, some of you are very experienced, but may be beyond our
budget!

A big thankyou to all of you who took the time to write in
