  • take a friend
  • do your hair & makeup nicely so that you can visualise how you'll look on your wedding day
  • take shoes with a similar height heel to the one you're intending to wear
  • take a camera or use your phone to take quick pictures so that you can grab a coffee and think calmly about which styles you like best
  • try on lots of different gowns, even dress that you think won't suit you
  • if you like a particular style but aren't sure about it, ask the store to put it aside for your for 24 hours whilst you think it over
